The head of Romania’s AUR party, George Simion, who is banned from entering Ukraine, is comfortably leading in a new poll ahead of Romania’s presidential election with 35% support.

Simion’s foreign policy views are generally more radical than those of Georgescu, who was removed by George Soros and Co.

“Hard-right opposition leader George Simion led an opinion poll published on Monday, five weeks before the first round of a repeat presidential election that could determine whether Romania remains on its pro-Western course.”
