DOGE the GA GOP: Reforming Georgia’s Party and Policies
This segment urges a "DOGE" overhaul of the Georgia GOP (GA GOP Inc.) to realign it with Georgian citizens’ interests by "draining the swamp" within the party. With the Georgia legislative session ending next Friday, key bills are advancing: one restricts puberty blockers for transgender youth, though state employee healthcare still covers such care, leaving loopholes; another set of election bills, passed along party lines, bans weekend absentee ballot drop-offs, last-minute election rules, and exits the ERIC voter registration system—questioning its five-year delay in purging voters. Governor Kemp’s salary jumps 37% to $250K, matching NY’s Hochul, with raises extending to judges and statewide officials (up to $200K), sparking debate over widespread pay hikes. The focus is on reforming both party and policy to prioritize citizens.
There is a need to DOGE the GA GOP Inc. we need to restore the republican for the american citizens and restore GA for its citizens. We need to drain the swamp in GA begins with draining the swamp at the GA GOP Inc.
We are in the final days of the GA legislative session, it ends next Friday.
Bill restricting puberty blockers for transgender youth in GA advances. Take a look at your healthcare coverage for state employees covered transgender care thanks to Chris Carr. Even after this bill you can still prescribe puberty blockers to minors. If you leave this in the bill you open the door for more.
GA election bills hurtle toward passage after party line votes. GOP legislators backed away from one of their most contentious proposals which would have required a head count of ballots on election night. The provision no longer appears in either bill following opposition from county election directors. IN the 2 election bills banning absentee ballot drop off the weekend before election day, prohibiting last minute state election board rules and withdrawing the state from voter registration accuracy organization, ERIC. ERIC has been in operation for 5 years and why has it taken this long to remove the voters. And they will not tell you how many states have removed themselves from the ERIC system.
Kemp gets a 37% raise, he is now tied with NY governor Hochul. The bill also increases the pay for other Georgia officials. If the governor gets a raise it will raise the salary of every elected official. It is not just the governor. The bill also changes the pay structure of judges. It would also increase the other statewide elected officials to $200K. Everyone is getting a raise.
