Multi ball Cartridge History

Today we talk about the history of multi-ball cartridges. Now most people may think of shotgun shells when a cartridge that fires multiple projectiles is mentioned. However, rifles and handguns have a surprisingly long history of using two or three bullets in a single cartridge.

In this video we look at the earliest concepts, for this cartridge and how the idea keeps coming around again and again, even today, despite it having severe drawbacks.
