VFX Breakdown Time! Ever wondered how to add a fighter jet to a car chase scene using After Effects? In this breakdown, I’ll take you behind the scenes of a desert chase sequence we created for Firestarter 2012, featuring Caz

🎥 How We Made It Happen:
✅ Tracked the shot using old-school AE CS5 techniques (no fancy motion trackers here)
✅ Used Element 3D to place an F-15 jet in the scene
✅ Matched the camera shake so the jet actually feels like it belongs there
✅ Added dust, more dust, and some extra dust for good measure
✅ Threw in a moon because… why not?

💻 Tech Details:
• Shot on a Canon 7D Mark I (RIP, it served well)
• Mounted on a submarine-grade suction cup
• Edited in After Effects CC2015 (but built originally in CS5)
