In this video I talk to a bullion dealer about buying gold and silver. We talk about some of the mistakes that people make when investing in gold or investing in silver. Gold is at an all time high and people are picky when it comes to what type of gold they are willing to buy. At Harry's Coin Shop they recommend buying US Gold coins such as the American gold buffalo or the American gold eagle. Foreign or world gold coins and bars do not do as well in the coin shop. When it comes to sizing they say the best size gold coins to buy is the 1 oz size because it will have the lowest premium. Gold has recently hit a new all time high and is still over $3,000 per oz. When it comes to buying silver they recommend buying low premium silver such as junk silver or generic silver buffalo rounds. They do not recommend buying high premium silver coins.
