Why I Switched from Photoshop to Affinity Photo

Hey everyone! Today, I’m sharing why I made the switch from Photoshop to Affinity Photo. While cost is a factor (because let’s be honest, 27€/month adds up fast), there’s a lot more to it.

🔹 Performance: Even on older hardware, Affinity runs smoother than Photoshop ever did.
🔹 Compatibility: Opens PSD files flawlessly, keeping effects and layers intact.
🔹 Familiar Tools: Masking, effects, and selections work just like Photoshop.
🔹 No Subscription: One-time purchase for 75€ (or less on sale!) vs. paying over €3,000 over 10 years for Photoshop without owning it.

And then there’s Adobe’s controversial terms of service… but that’s a topic for another day.
