How the Parable of the Sower Relates to Investing

In Matthew 13 Jesus talks about the parable of the sower who sows seed that fall onto different places. Some fall onto ground that isn't suitable for growth, while some fall onto ground that allows them to produce great fruit. This applies to investing as well. Have your investment seeds fallen onto fertile ground, or will they be choked out by the weeds?
