Trump Slams Media, Weissmann & Eisen for ‘Rigging Courts’ Through Judge Intimidation

D.C. (Dist. of Criminals), March 13, 2025 — President Donald Trump, speaking at the Department of Justice, issued a strong rebuke against what he called an orchestrated effort by the mainstream media and left-wing operatives like Andrew Weissmann and Norm Eisen to manipulate and intimidate judges handling high-profile cases, including his own.

Trump praised Judge Aileen Cannon of Florida for standing strong against a barrage of media-driven attacks, calling her “the absolute model of what a judge should be.” He highlighted how left-wing lawyers and media figures relentlessly “played the ref” by attempting to pressure her into ruling against him through public smear campaigns.

“They were saying she was slow, she wasn’t smart, totally biased, loved Trump. I didn’t know her other than seeing her for a couple of days in court. But I watched her decorum—amazing. And despite all the lies, she was brilliant, she moved quickly, and she was strong,” Trump said.

Trump then broadened his criticism, accusing the New York Times, Washington Post, and networks like CNN and MSNBC of running a coordinated “influence campaign” against conservative judges, including Supreme Court Justices Clarence Thomas, Samuel Alito, Brett Kavanaugh, and Neil Gorsuch.

“These people say the most horrible things about judges, hoping to pressure them into bad rulings. What they’re doing is totally illegal. If you convict Trump, they leave you alone. That’s how the system works,” he warned.

He also took aim at far-left legal operatives like Andrew Weissmann, Jack Smith, and Norm Eisen—calling them “scum”—and accused them of weaponizing the legal system against political opponents.

Trump compared the media’s coordinated judge intimidation to election interference, arguing that biased reporting has become a political tool of the Democrat Party.

“These networks and newspapers are really no different than highly paid political operatives. What they do is illegal. It’s influencing judges and changing the law. It just cannot be legal,” he declared.

Despite these attacks, Trump reaffirmed his commitment to restoring law and order, securing fair elections, and rebuilding public trust in the justice system.

“We are bringing honor and accountability back to the highest levels of the FBI, DOJ, and throughout our government. We’re bringing our country back faster than anyone ever thought possible,” he concluded.
