We hear it all the time, “we need a whole of government approach” to this or that but if you want to see how that concept works in action, just take a moment to observe the Trump administration’s amazing work securing the borders and the interior from illegal aliens, human trafficking, drug trafficking, and countering terrorism from the drug cartels, trans-national violent gangs, Islamists, and Chinese nationals! The administration immediately started its mass deportation program on the first day in office, has deployed the US military combat power to the Southern border, is utilizing our exceptional intelligence capabilities to support the Mexican government and target the cartels (as exhibited by the recent arrests of 29 cartel leaders), and is using President Trump’s tariff programs toe convince Mexico and Canda to enforce border security on their borders with us. All of this has resulted in a dramatic decrease in illegal crossings and is expected to stop the flow of deadly drugs like fentanyl into the country.
