13 Hours The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi - Modern Cinema Review - Old Man Orange Podcast 635

Josh and Spencer are talking all about the Michael Bay war film, 13 Hours The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi from 2016 in a Modern Cinema Review on Old Man Orange Podcast 635. A movie with mixed views from critics but loved by many veterans. Josh has seen it multiple times (A veteran himself) but it's a first watch for Spencer who has had it sitting in the Blu Ray collection for quite some time with all the good intentions of finally getting around to watching it.

13 Hours plays out a real life event of six Annex Security Team members have to fight and defend the American Diplomatic compound in Benghazi, Libya from a constant wave of attacks on September 11, 2012. With no help from the government on their situation. Movie-wise, it plays out a lot like a modern day, Assault on Precinct 13 (The John Carpenter film) or for an even older reference, Rio Bravo with John Wayne and Dean Martin. Both excellent films worth pairing with 13 Hours.
