Welcome to the Eyes and Ears show with your host Charles!

Today's show is dedicated to the dead...I mean The Grateful Dead. Joining me on this trip is Pavlos Alexandrou ("Uncle John"). Pavlos, a California native and world traveler, was on Grateful Dead tour from 1987 to 1993. Besides his ties to Owsley Stanley, Pavlos was heavily involved in the Taper's Section as an archivist. He helped form the San Francisco house and techno community in the early 1990s. Anarchist, cannabis breeder and grower, father...and currently the number one active downhill skateboarder in the world in his age bracket. Yea...that's a thing.

This conversation, like the lot/shakedown street, has a little of everything. We discuss Grateful Dead lore, old CIA connections, Kesey/Merry Pranksters, Pavlos' firsthand stories of late 80s-90s Dead shows, and recognize a small bar band from Vermont that sings songs about hands and feet being Mangos...you're gonna be a genius anywaaaay!!!

Thanks for watching. Blessings!
