Collecting lye water

this year I'm going to be using lye to make my soap homemade lye I took all of the ashes that I've used that I've been collecting for the last 3 years I've been in this phone and this year we're going to make soap from those ashes I've collected the ashes and put them through some snow when we had our snow here in Georgia and I allowed that snow to Leach the line out and now I'm collecting it in the bottle that will hold it while I'm not making so thanks for joining me.
