Chernobylite 2: Exclusion Zone expands on its predecessor with deeper RPG mechanics, a more unstable Exclusion Zone, and new survival elements. You play as Cole Grey, a Planewalker from an alternate dimension, tasked with raiding other realities for Chernobylite. Combat is now more tactical, with six unique classes, melee-focused mechanics, and a mix of gunplay.

Survival is more intense, with vitals affecting everything from stamina to mental stability. Base-building returns with improved crafting, and factions now play a larger role in shaping your story. The big addition? Online co-op, though details are still scarce.

While the game has promise, early access is rough—performance issues like frame drops and optimization problems hold it back. If you can handle some jank, it’s worth a try. Otherwise, waiting for the full release might be the smarter move.
