Muslim asks Sam Shamoun and David Wood about Did John Claim to be an Eyewitness according to the Gospel of John referring to the verse in Johns gospel that says in John 21 verse 24 saying “We know his testimony is true” This is confirming that the early church group witnesses did confirm John as being the one who witnesses the event and was also there with him. Since it was a muslim asking this it’s ironic because according to the earliest muslim sources like sirat rasul allah the life of muhammad by ibn ishaqq page 103 confirms that the Followers of John specifically John was the one who wrote john and use verses in there to prove muhammad as the paracleet in John 16 and John 14 which we know are wrong popular apologists use this to christians such as Zakir naik and ahmeed deedat to point to places that have been refuted
