New Platform Using NFTs And Mapping To Help A Ministry Preserve High Emotion Memories With Images

This video gives a lower-tech option, yet still using web3 and NFT technology, to help ministry efforts preserve high emotion memories at very specific spots on Earth. Many people attach very high degrees of emotion to very specific locations; and the need to preserve memories is important. However, more advanced web3 technology seen earlier on this channel (augmented reality, metaverse, digital twins, 3D buildings and avatars/agents) may be a bit too much for many people. However, at this time, most people are comfortable with online maps and basic images/photos which are in digital format.

In this video you will see an example of a possibly-abandoned church in Texas in order to explain the topic - yet without any leaning toward any particular denomination. There are possible costs involved, but not necessary for basic level features. The memories which get posted generate a shareable link, just like you can share on any commonly-used social media platform or email newsletter.

Some of these social media platforms allow people to add images & video clips to specific locations on Earth; but there always is the risk of one's account being deleted and/or the platform shutting down. Preserving memories to the Blockchain (via IPFS) is a topic for later discussion; but this platform permits it and can help increase the longevity of memories in the online world for many years in the future.
