Macron’s Misstep and the Ukraine Money Mystery

Emmanuel Macron messed up big time. You don’t correct Donald Trump on the world stage and expect to walk away unscathed. Yesterday, Macron jetted over here—probably sweating bullets—to protect France’s stake in the Ukraine cash pile. After meeting Trump, where’d he go? Straight to Fox, so MSNBC, CNN can play the clips. Trump’s saying Ukraine got $500 billion in aid, but Zelensky’s like, ‘Nah, I only saw $100 billion.’ Meanwhile, senators from both parties, Blinken, Sullivan, the media—they’re all confirming Zelensky got the full amount. So, what’s the deal? Who’s pocketing the difference? Trump’s not letting this slide—he wants our money back.
Zelensky’s digging in, saying he doesn’t owe a dime—Biden and Congress called it a grant, not a loan. Trump’s been telling us it’s a mess every day, and he’s not wrong. Time’s gonna tell us who’s lying here.
