The door that shouldn’t have been opened

George ignores his grandmother’s warning about the midnight knocking, diminishing it as superstition. When he hears knocks at 12:03AM, he opens the door, finding nothing. But as footsteps approach, the door slams shut, and his phone dies. Alone in the dark he may have opened more than just a door.
