Muhammad Is NOT In The BIBLE (Paraclete Verse) | Sam Shamoun

The assertion that the Paraclete mentioned in the Gospel of John refers to Muhammad is utterly baseless and reflects a profound misunderstanding of the Scriptures. The term "Paraclete" (Greek: παράκλητος, parakletos) unequivocally denotes the Holy Spirit, not any human prophet. Jesus Christ, the Son of the Living God, explicitly identifies the Paraclete as the Holy Spirit, stating, "But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things." This divine Helper was to be with the disciples forever, dwelling within them—a promise fulfilled at Pentecost when the Holy Spirit descended upon them. To suggest that this refers to Muhammad, who appeared six centuries later and never knew the disciples, is a blatant distortion of the truth.

Moreover, the claim that the Greek term "parakletos" was altered from "periklutos" (meaning "praised one") is a desperate and unfounded attempt to force a connection where none exists. No ancient manuscript supports this spurious theory. The Scriptures are clear and unambiguous: the Paraclete is the Holy Spirit, the third Person of the Holy Trinity, sent by Jesus Christ Himself to guide and empower His followers. Any attempt to equate this divine promise with Muhammad is not only theologically erroneous but also a deliberate misrepresentation of the Christian faith.

The Bible stands as the inerrant Word of God, testifying to the eternal truth of Jesus Christ as the only Savior and Redeemer. As it is written, "Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved."
