We are nearing the end of King David’s story. In 2nd Samuel Chapter 24, King David Counts His Men and realizes he has sinned. God gives him a choice of punishments and King David chooses the shortest punishment for his people. 74,000 people die during this punishment. If you're interested in the history of the twelve tribes of Israel, this is an interesting chapter.
