Skies remained mostly cloudy today but we are anticipating some gradual clearing tonight as skies are turning sunny over the western part of the state.  Tonight assuming the skies do clear, we will drop down into the upper 20s and lower 30s with winds light out of the west and southwest near 5 mph. Because of the cold air, we once again have a freeze warning issued for the southern half of the NBC26 viewing area.  Winds pick up out of the southwest tomorrow around 10 to 20 mph. This will warm us into the lower 50s. We will start with mostly sunny skies but then as the afternoon and evening progresses, cloud cover will increase as a cold front begins to move in.  A few isolated rain showers will sprinkle on us overnight into Sunday morning. Most areas will remain dry and the cold front is moisture deprived. Temperatures however will drop into the upper 40s for highs tomorrow behind the front.
