-Phillips debate with Lane in CA showed Oswald never in MxCity or the records dont place him there. I'll have to re-watch this.
-Later comes out from multiple CIA higher-ups incluing Phillips, under oath, that Hunt WAS in Mexico City
-CIA concocted the conspiracy theorist smear specifically to suppress coverage of this trial, also ordered all assets not to cover it, fake news WaPo led the charge.
-Lane caught Hunt lying about being in Dallas but the case was already over. The news outlet lane represented paid for him to keep it going to expose the CIA. Hunt originally sued the reporter who used to go through Bob Dylan's trash, who caused him to leave NYC, for Defamation because he said Hunt was in Dallas for JFK, at that newspaper. Apparently Lane destroyed his case in the appeal.
But actually Hunt was caught twice, the first time he said he was at a Chinese restaurant that didn't exist yet at the time, then he changed the name, then at the end of the trial Lane got him saying it hurt his relationship w his kids, How could they believe the story of Hunt being in Dallas if he was with the kids at the time? And his head dropped back, Groubert says, like he knew they got him.
