The pre-Islamic deity Hubal, prominently worshipped at the Kaaba in Mecca, was none other than Baal, a god associated with fertility and the moon. This association is evident from historical records indicating that Hubal was a Moabite import, directly linking him to Baal. The Quraysh tribe, to which Muhammad belonged, revered Hubal as their chief deity, underscoring the deep-rooted paganism in pre-Islamic Arabia. The Islamic narrative attempts to distance Allah from these pagan origins, yet the evidence is irrefutable: the Allah of Islam is a continuation of the Baal worship that the Bible vehemently condemns. This is a stark reminder of the spiritual darkness that pervaded before the light of Christ illuminated the world.

Jeremiah 23:27: "They think the dreams they tell one another will make my people forget my name, just as their ancestors forgot my name through Baal worship." - A lament on how Baal worship leads people away from the true God.
