Is David Benavidez READY to Take Down Beterbiev vs Bivol Winner?

After winning a 12-round unanimous decision against David Morrell, David Benavidez impressed a lot of critics this past Saturday night in Las Vegas. Critics of Benavidez were hoping for Morrell to stop The Mexican Monster.

However, they were wrong. David Benavidez not only passed the David Morrell test but also withstood some rough moments in the fight, even overcoming an 11th-round knockdown.

Both men landed some thunderous shots against each other during this gruesome battle. Benavidez has earned the right to fight the Beterbiev vs Bivol winner.

Stylistically, is David Benavidez ready? He's fighting the top guys in his division without using duck language to avoid fighting the best. Hopefully, other American fighters will follow David Benavidez's example and fight the top guys in their division.

In other news, Isaac Cruz and Stephen Fulton looked good in their wins against their opponents. Cool Boy Steph looked extremely good against Brandon Figueroa.

Fulton's footwork, ring IQ, and ring generalship were exceptional. Fulton made Brandon look like an amateur. By beating Figueroa twice, it's obvious Cool Boy Steph has Brandon Figueroa's number.

This was a good fight card altogether; I must give the PBC kudos for putting together a great fight card.
