Episode 551: You need a spiritual body to enter heaven Part 2

Hello everyone. In tonight's Bible study we pull back the curtains on the body God prepares for the New Heaven, New Earth, outer darkness, and the lake of fire.

Wait! What? Outer darkness and the lake of fire? What in the world are you talking about, Kevin?

I'm talking about what God wrote in His scriptures. The Lord declared that every human born into this world prior to the revealing of the new heaven and earth will go through the portal of death.

1 Cor. 15:22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ all shall be made alive.
How many humans die? All!

I didn't say that friend, God did, yet the same God said that everyone who lives in Christ will be raised from the dead and given life.

The question isn't what you do with your external behavior. The real question is where are you. Are you still in Adam? Then you will die! If you are in Christ, then you will live because of Him.

God is giving life to everyone that is in Christ, this life is called salvation. The process of this life is threefold.

1. A newly created human spirit called the first fruits
Romans 8:23 - Not only that, but we also who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, eagerly waiting for the adoption, the redemption of our body.

2. A mind cleansed from this corrupted world and past sins
Isaiah 65:17 - “For behold, I create new heavens and a new earth;
And the former shall not be remembered or come to mind.

Revelation 21:3-4 - And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, “Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.”Then He who sat on the throne said, “Behold, I make all things new.” And He said to me, “Write, for these words are true and faithful.”

3. A redeemed body like our God and Savior Jesus Christ
1 John 3:1-3 - Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God! Therefore the world does not know us, because it did not know Him. Beloved, now we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is. And everyone who has this hope in Him purifies himself, just as He is pure.

Wow, how glorious! I can't wait, nevertheless, come Lord Jesus!
