Man Proposes To Girlfriend After Disney Duet
Love is friendship caught fire; it is quiet, mutual confidence, sharing and forgiving. It is loyalty through good and bad times. It settles for less than perfection and makes allowances for human weaknesses. Love is content with the present, hopes for the future, and does not brood over the past. It is the day-in and day-out chronicles of irritations, problems, compromises, small disappointments, big victories, and working toward common goals. If you have love in your life, it can make up for a great many things you lack. If you do not have it, no matter what else there is, it is not enough." Love. What a small word we use for an idea so immense and powerful. It has altered the flow of history, calmed monsters, kindled works of art, cheered the forlorn, turned tough guys to mush, consoled the enslaved, driven strong women mad, glorified the humble, fueled national scandals, bankrupted robber barons, and made mincemeat of kings. How can love’s spaciousness be conveyed in the narrow confines of one syllable?
Marriage is a promise, a potential, made in the hearts of two people who love, which takes a lifetime to fulfill. If you are a man thinking about how best to make a marriage proposal to your sweetheart, or a woman dreaming about how and where this joyful event will take place - you can find thousands and thousands of brilliant marriage proposal ideas all over the Internet, on social platforms such as Pinterest, Instagram, Facebook etc. They range from traditional elegant and romantic to humorous, creative and right out crazy.
In this video, you can see how a school principle managed to surprise his girlfriend. He asked for her hand in marriage after singing a duet from Disney hit film "Frozen".
Jeremiah Collins, 25, is a principal at Germantown Christian School, in Trenton, Ohio, and wanted to surprise his girlfriend, Tessa Tanton, a 23-year-old Administrator Assistant after meeting at bible school, two years ago. Jeremiah planned the surprise proposal after incorporating it into a 'lip-sync battle' at the end of a Christian youth camp.
Jeremiah wanted to propose marriage to his girlfriend for an entire nine months. But, he was waiting for the right chance to do so. In order to show his love and respect towards the one that gripped his heart, he wanted to make the event singular and unforgettable, an event she would not expect and moreover - she would never forget. Their church organizes a youth camp, and on the last night, they traditionally do a lip-sync battle. Jeremiah was responsible for this event and came to the conclusion the best possible plan is to pop the proposal exactly that night. In the end, all their friends and family were there, and, perhaps, long expected this.
Jeremiah and Tessa met in 2014 after he planned a scavenger hunt. He did something similar then - the final prize was he himself and he declared his love for her. He remembered they had an amazing time afterward: took tons of pictures with people and hugged everyone at the camp. As it always goes, the night was great but exhausting. They were still in sort of an awe of what just happened.
