Modern day slavery doesn't have visible shackles

Modern slavery doesn't consist of shackles, and in China it is very palpable through slave labor. That's why the United States passed a law prohibiting the importation of products made by slave labor.

A recent measure bans the entry of products from 37 companies into the United States. It also includes mining. And the energy sector. And it particularly targets the Xinjiang province, where there is an ethnic and religious minority, the Uyghurs, who are denouncing a genocide.
