Season 3 Episode 37: He Made Himself of No Reputation Coming As A Bondservant In The Likeness Of Men

Originally aired 12/7/24. Since it’s NOW OFFICIALLY the Christmas Season, I want to remind everyone about my inspiring novel, THE LOST: A STORY of CHRISTMAS.

We are well on our way into the Christmas Season, and I sense that people WANT to return to the TRADITIONAL things. Part of that is the TRUMP EFFECT, bringing back the nostalgia for those good old American traditions and values and freedoms. I think deep down, that’s who America wants to be.

We want that CHRISTMAS SPIRIT America of Apple pie, and that nip of Fall air turning crisp, and cozy winter evenings shared in a community of neighbors, the sparkle of Christmas JOY, and the warmth of families going to CHURCH on Christmas Eve. Deep down we cherish the SPIRIT and LOVE that Christmas brings in America, and that’s just who we are.

And we want EVERYONE to feel that hope of love and Miracles that this Season brings. We TRULY WANT Peace on Earth and Good WILL toward others.
So Friends, We need to BE READY FOR CHRISTMAS because HEARTS ARE OPEN to HOPE and JOY, and that’s what the Story of Christmas Brings.
It is a TRUE STORY: LOVE was BORN into the world 2,000 years ago in a lonely stable in Bethlehem, and placed in a feeding trough—the King of Kings, come to set us free.
And this is the LOVE STORY people need to hear again. This is the ONLY THING we need to know, that God LEFT HIS THRONE of GLORY to be enrobed in a MORTAL HUMAN BODY, to die and pay for the sins of EVERY HUMAN EVER BORN.
And so I am urging you all—WE HAVE NO PROMISE concerning our time here, and we MUST RECOGNIZE the SPIRITUAL SEASON we are in. NOW IS THE TIME to Be about our FATHER’s Business—whatever that might be.
And so AS WE go out, hearts JOYFULLY PREPARED to plant seeds this season, one thing we can also be prepared for is the opportunity for a conversation with someone who has QUESTIONS.
And one of the questions I get about JESUS, is WHO He IS—What does it MEAN when they call Him THE SON OF GOD?
There’s a lot of viewpoints floating out there, and people get exposed to all of them—sometimes even more than we expose people to the TRUTH.
And so people have QUESTIONS about JESUS—what does it mean that He is “The SON of GOD?”
