I Hate the Dumb Song “Imagine”

John Lennon was a communist, and his famous song "Imagine" was always about a communist Utopia that he shared with his goofy wife. This is what Lennen said about his own song: Lennon's Statements:
Lennon himself described "Imagine" as an "anti-religious, anti-nationalistic, anti-conventional, anti-capitalistic [song], but because it is sugar-coated, it is accepted." This statement suggests an acknowledgment of the song's radical underpinnings, though he might not have intended it strictly as a communist anthem. This is the song that Jimmy Carter wanted played at his funeral and they had Garth Brookes, the immoral loser who cheated on his wife to sing it. I though it was great that they showed who they are. But what they are is terrible.
