Haboob Sweeps into Las Vegas, Disrupts Baseball Game

A dust storm blew into Las Vegas and Clark County, Nevada, knocking out power to over 60,000 customers and disrupting flights late on Saturday, August 11. Fox 5 Vegas reported the storm brought high winds, heavy rain and clouds of dust when it swept into downtown Las Vegas. The haboob also delayed the Las Vegas 51s baseball game with the Reno Aces.
