Cyclist nearly collides with a car after a reckless driver sharply pulls out

This is the heart-stopping moment a driver recklessly pulls out at a give way junction and almost ploughed into a travelling cyclist.

Stephen Allen, 44, has shared bicycle dashcam footage of his near-miss and says even though he escaped unharmed he predicts his “time is running out”.

Police have now launched a manhunt to track down the driver who almost hit the cyclist in Chesterfield, Derbs.
