Holy Fire Edges Close to Homes in Lake Elsinore, California

Smoke covered parts of Lake Elsinore, California, as the Holy Fire stood at more than 4,100 acres and was five percent contained by August 8. Multiple communities, including McVicker, Rice and Sycamore Creek, were under mandatory evacuation on August 8, according to the Cleveland National Forest Service. This video was filmed in Lake Elsinore by resident Ana Arreaza, who said she was preparing to evacuate her home. The fire started on Monday, August 6, according to official reports.
