Rescue efforts and disaster relief continued throughout Lombok, Indonesia, on August 7, following a deadly earthquake that struck two days prior. Some communities in North Lombok, which was considered the worst hit area, had not received aid by August 7. Officials reported that 108 people died and 134 people were injured from the earthquake, though the number was expected to rise, according to Republika.
