Storm Shield Forecast morning update 8/1/18

We are hot again today with a high of 104 in Bakersfield to start the month of August and air quality that's unhealthy for sensitive groups. We have more smoke still filling into Kern County so the Air Quality Alert continues through at least tomorrow as well. The Kern River Valley and desert once again top out in the 100s this afternoon with the low 90s in Tehachapi and the upper 80s in Frazier Park.
