Guy Performing The Kiki Challenge Gets Hit By A Car
This is the moment a Florida man gets knocked down by a car while attempting to complete the popular "In My Feelings" challenge. Jaylen Norwood from Boynton Beach is seen exiting the car as the song plays in the background and starts dancing on the road. Moments later, he slips on a patch of oil, and just then, a car comes in his direction and hits him. How crazy!
Jaylen thought that he had the whole thing planned out. He was going to do the dance and then jump on the hood of the incoming car and continue the dance, but the vehicle came in too fast, he panicked and slipped on the oil which resulted in him getting hit by the car. Why would someone take the risk to do this?
The video then cuts to a clip of his showing his cuts and smiling for the camera. Norwood says that this incident didn’t leave him injured other than with a scraped arm, but nonetheless, this whole challenge with dancing on the street with incoming traffic is complete nonsense to us!
The viral challenge, which has seen fans falling out of moving cars and getting hurt, prompted the National Transportation Safety Board to issue a statement addressing its dangers. "Hopping out of a moving vehicle or jumping into lanes of traffic to show your dance moves is foolish and dangerous — to you and those around you,” a representative of the board said. “There’s a time and place for everything, but our nation’s highways and roadways are no place for the In My Feelings challenge.”
Hopefully this report will urge people to be more careful when practicing risky challenges in public! This clip is proof that levels of stupidity can aim much higher than we think they can!
The Kiki challenge swept many countries around the world when the Canadian rapper Drake kicked off a new trend with his new song “In My Feelings”, which prompted one Instagram user to post a video dancing by his car in sync with Drake’s song and he quickly became a viral sensation. In the challenge participants slow their car down, open their door and dance on the song’s first few lyrics while the car is still moving, which puts them at high risk of potential traffic accidents and reckless endangerment of others. As part of the "Kiki" dance challenge, people get out of a slowly moving car and leave the door open as they dance alongside it in sync with the music. Which is crazy, right?
However, in some countries such as Egypt or the United Arab Emirates, those caught taking part in the challenge could be punished with a fine or imprisonment. Social media users around the world have been filmed jumping out of moving vehicles as part of the trend. The public reactions to the challenge are mixed and the question why people do it, remains unanswered.
Who started the kiki challenge? A comedian and social media influencer named Shiggy. He posted the first ever kiki challenge dance video on June 30 encouraging his 1.6 million followers to the dance. And that is how, within weeks, hundreds of people started doing the Kiki dance. Shiggy himself does not actually jump out of a moving vehicle, instead he is just standing on the street. However followers decided to take it one step further and jump out of moving cars to dance while the driver filmed them.
The kiki dance is not exclusively tied to people but animals love it, too, but there’s only one dog who should win this challenge. In another hilarious video, a seven-year-old Border Collie pup named Supra takes part in this challenge in a funny and cute way! Who would have supposed that dogs can be so funky? Sometimes animals are beyond surprising!
