📽️Jingle All The Way (1996)🎥 FamilyShield Rated PG (⚠️Parental guidance suggested, with ✅no sexual content, ✅no LGBTQ+ content, ✅no woke content, minimal rude behaviors, and minimal bad language.)
✅LGBTQ+ free
✅Woke free
✴️Good family movie, excluding some bad language and rude behaviors that might not be appropriate for younger children and some older children, as should be determined by the parents.
✴️✴️The film emphasizes the importance of family time over material gifts, with Howard's journey leading to a reaffirmation of his love for his son. It satirizes the consumerist frenzy of the holiday season, highlighting how Christmas can become about acquiring "the" gift rather than the spirit of the holiday. Howard's character arc involves learning to prioritize his family, offering a narrative of redemption common in American storytelling.
Bad Language:
1) 5 minutes 56 seconds - Damnit
2) 8 minutes 17 seconds - Hell
3) 1 hour 6 minutes - Ass
4) 1 hour 6 minutes - Hell
*Another hell in there too, but that's the gist of it.
Plot:
"Jingle All the Way" is a Christmas comedy film where Howard Langston, a workaholic mattress salesman played by Arnold Schwarzenegger, promises his son Jamie the hottest toy of the season, the Turbo-Man action figure. On Christmas Eve, Howard realizes he hasn't bought the toy yet and embarks on a frantic quest through Minneapolis to find one. His journey pits him against a similarly desperate mailman, Myron Larabee (Sinbad), and a series of comedic obstacles, including crowds of other frantic parents, a warehouse full of fraudulent Santas, and his own neighbor, Ted Maltin (Phil Hartman), who is trying to charm Howard's wife, Liz (Rita Wilson). The climax involves Howard becoming the real Turbo-Man at a Christmas parade, saving Jamie from danger, and learning the true spirit of Christmas is not about material gifts but about family and time spent together.
Characters:
Howard Langston (Arnold Schwarzenegger) - A busy mattress salesman trying to redeem himself by getting the Turbo-Man toy.
Myron Larabee (Sinbad) - A postal worker equally desperate to get the same toy for his son.
Jamie Langston (Jake Lloyd) - Howard's son, who wants the Turbo-Man action figure.
Liz Langston (Rita Wilson) - Howard's wife, who is frustrated by his workaholism.
Ted Maltin (Phil Hartman) - The neighbor who continually tries to make Howard look bad and flirts with Liz.
Officer Hummell - A recurring character who encounters Howard throughout his quest.
