Autism presents differently in women than it does for men. Many women have lived lives undiagnosed because high masking traits are often learned at a young age. This is because autistic behaviors are commonly misunderstood, because autism is fundamentally misunderstood.

In this video, I will go over 10 signs of autism in women. Autism impacts each person differently and presents differently. Often times, women with autism have their autistic traits overlooked because of high masking behaviors that are learned as a child in order to simply exist. Autism is not on the rise from any mysterious causes. It is simply because of the increased awareness around autism that more people are learning about autism.
