Boone County Citizens to pay for Electric Vehicle Charging Stations?

Boone Co. Fiscal Court has shot down the OKI grant from Gary Moore, and he is adding it to the Tuesday, December 17th agenda... again. Why push this initiative when vehicle manufacturers are stopping or slowing down production, consumers can't afford due to the added costs on the front end, tax break for EV's are confusing and not worth the hassle, batteries are expensive, etc. Reach out to the commissioners and Gary Moore regarding your concerns. Better yet, show up Tuesday 12/17/24 at 5:30pm.
