Explosion in Downtown Sun Prairie Prompts Evacuations

A possible gas explosion ripped through the Main Street of Sun Prairie, Wisconsin, leveling a building and tearing apart cars on Tuesday, July 10. The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reported the explosion followed a gas leak caused by a contractor striking a gas main. Two firefighters and a police officer were injured in the incident.
