More than 14,000 people were without power in Buckeye and Southwest Valley in Arizona for a time on July 9 after a monsoon storm swept through, according to APS. Footage posted to Facebook shows the storm approaching from the intersection of Watson and Lower Buckeye Road. The storm left widespread damage to homes and trees, and flipped two mobile homes, according to Buckeye Fire Capt Tommy Taylor, local reports said.
