It's not some long complicated thing.

It's just the fact that the developer clearly makes an effort to point out that some sprunkis are alive and some are dead in phase 2. This being the case, when the computer is speaking, it would be contradictory for it to be speaking to the player. It's speaking to one of the sprunkis, and there is only one character that it could possibly be talking to, and that's Gray.

It can only be speaking to Gray.
