How real were Facebook bomb threats?

Allan Summers posted on Facebook that he planned to blow up several Hamilton County government buildings, netting himself a charge of terroristic threatening. His family says he's struggled with schizophrenia for most of his life. Were the threats based in fact? Was there any actual danger?
