Jeers and heckles from counter-protesters echoed around Big Spring Park in Huntsville, Alabama, during prayers at a immigration reform event on Saturday, June 30. Moments later the rally was disrupted by a man brandishing a gun. AL.com reported Shane Ryan Sealy, 34, was arrested for menacing and reckless endangerment after pulling a gun at the “Families Belong Together” event on June 30. Witnesses told WHNT people screamed and dropped to the floor after Sealy, a former high school teacher, drew the weapon. This video from James Robinson shows a counter-protester trying to disrupt a prayer service at the rally, which was organized to show opposition to the now suspended policy of President Donald Trump’s administration to separate parents and children who illegally enter the United States.
