Maxine Waters Answers Death Threats — Shoot Straight

Waters was forced to cancel events in Texas and Alabama last week after receiving one “very serious” death threat, she revealed on Thursday. The California Democrat said the Capitol Police were investigating the threats against her.

But on Saturday, Waters appeared to welcome the threats and used them as motivation to fire up the anti-Trump crowd.

“I know that there are those who are talking about censuring me, talking about kicking me out of Congress, talking about shooting me, talking about hanging me,” Waters said.

“All I have to say is this: If you shoot me, you’d better shoot straight. There’s nothing like a wounded animal. I am prepared to make whatever sacrifices need to be made,” she added. “I have no fear. I’m in this fight.”
