YouTube's Podcast Dominance and Spotify's Video Push

The rise of YouTube as the most popular podcast platform, despite podcasts traditionally being an audio format. The rise of video podcasts, popularity with Gen Z, and the impact of the pandemic are cited as major factors. Spotify's response to this has been to introduce video podcasts to their platform in an attempt to gain market share. Whether Spotify can overtake YouTube with this, however, remains an open question.
