Tanker Drops Retardant on Pawnee Fire in Lake County, California

The Pawnee Fire in Lake County, California, had burned more than 10,000 acres by the evening of June 25, and was only 5 percent contained. California Gov Jerry Brown declared a state of emergency as 1,500 residents were evacuated from the area. More than 20 structures, including 12 homes, were reported to have been destroyed.
