Davina McCall out of surgery after operation to remove rare brain tumour

TV presenter Davina McCall is recovering after undergoing brain surgery to remove a rare benign tumour.

Posting on her Instagram, her partner Michael says that according to the surgeon, the operation "was textbook" and that Davina is "recovering in ICU as a precaution".

The 57-year-old television presenter previously said in a video on Instagram that she has a type of tumour called a colloid cyst, which she described as "very rare" - occurring in around "three in a million" people.
