Erik J. Matthews w/MAGGPIE - ALL MY LOVING -Cover Song - 1st gig initiation?

On November 22/1963, The Beatles released "All My Loving."

On July 18/2015, Erik "Jalava" Matthews played his 1st official gig as a member of, MAGGPIE. The previous evening, the band members asked Erik (with roughly an hour's notice) if he would like to sit in with them on stage at Chances Casino, Chilliwack, B.C. He drove home and quickly grabbed his gear.

After the show, the band asked Erik if he would like to join the band; with the next gig only a few hours away, the following afternoon.

In this little clip, you'll see the way the band "initiated" Erik into the group.

"The greatest thing, for me, about being a member of Maggpie, is that the banter, wild senses of humour, inside jokes and fun personalities (throw in a bit of quirkiness) make this band a fun one to be in.

Working all my life at writing and performing, scheduling and recording, the pressure of all of this "real work" is non-existent when on stage with their boys.
