Body washes ashore in Pictured Rocks

An investigation is underway after hikers discovered a body that washed ashore from Lake Superior. The body was discovered Friday along the Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore near Miners Beach. Police said the body was not able to be positively identified at this time. Foul play is not suspected. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Michigan State Police Negaunee Post.
