Pacific414 Pop Talk Watch Party Double Feature: Uncle Buck I Planes, Trains and Automobiles

Welcome one and all to Pacific414 Pop Talk for Sunday November 10th 2024!

On today's show, we will host a John Hughes/John Candy double feature with two of the funniest comedies of of the late 1980's.

The first movie of this John Hugh's/John Candy watch party double feature is the comedy Uncle Buck, written and directed John Hughes and stars John Candy as Buck Russell, a laid back commitment-phobe who babysits his brother's rebellious teenage daughter and her cute younger brother and sister.

Uncle Buck also features Amy Madigan and Macaulay Culkin.

The second movie in our double feature is the 1987 Thanksgiving holiday classic Planes, Trains, and Automobiles written and directed by John Hughes and starring Steve Martin as marketing businessman Neil Page and John Candy as shower curtain ring salesman Del Griffin who are trying to get back home to Chicago for the Thanksgiving holiday.
