Wednesday Evening Bible Study Jeremiah 32-33 11-6-2024

Jeremiah chapter 32 has Jeremiah living out an object lesson again. God directs him to buy a field there in Judah even though Judah is going into Babylonian captivity. It serves as a prophetic action that God will be bringing His people back to the Promised Land in the future.
Jeremiah obeys God's direction even though he doesn't understand, which is a witness to his faith.
Chapter 33 continues the encouraging message by telling of God's plans to restore the nation to prominence again. Verse 3 of chapter 33 is a famous verse that many have memorized, "Call unto Me and I will answer you and show you great and might things which you do not know".
The chapter ends with God's promises to keep the Davidic Covenant with the Jewish people of Israel always being in existence.
